The Geekworm Active Cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 is a dedicated cooling solution engineered to provide superior thermal management for the Raspberry Pi 5 SBC (8 GB, 4 GB or 2 GB models). It combines a machined aluminium heatsink with a 3007 PWM blower fan to efficiently draw heat away from the CPU, RAM, and chipset.
Unlike passive heatsinks, this active cooler supports PWM speed control, meaning the fan speed adapts automatically to temperature, offering quiet operation at idle and stronger cooling under load. The heatsink uses high-quality thermal pads and a larger surface area with more fins than the official cooler.
The design is lightweight, compact and easy to install: just align the built-in spring-loaded push pins, press to clip onto the Pi 5 board, and connect the fan header. No screws or special tools needed, and it fits within standard Pi 5 enclosures. Its small form factor preserves access to ports and connectors and maintains compatibility with many cases.
